At its Jan. 20 meeting, the Ravenswood City Council completed routine business including approval of prior minutes, personnel actions and two motions to table contract-related agenda items.
Todd Ritchie moved to approve the Jan. 6, 2026 minutes; Jeff Koon seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The council considered change orders, contracts, contract amendments, invoices and purchases tied to the Ravenswood Waterfront Economic Enhancement Grant Fund Projects. Dee Scritchfield moved to table the waterfront grant item; Todd Ritchie seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The council separately considered change orders and related items for current municipal water and wastewater projects (MOVRC/The Thrasher Group) and Dee Scritchfield moved to table that item as well; Todd Ritchie seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The council approved hiring Autumn Robinson and Stephen Thompson as license & billing clerks on motions by Amanda Slaven (mover) and second by Eric Cullen; those votes were recorded as approved by all members present.
Todd Ritchie moved to adjourn at 8:44 p.m.; Jared Bloxton seconded and the council adjourned. The next meeting is set for Feb. 3, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
