Citizen complaint, department reports and staffing application noted by council

During public comment at the Dec. 9 meeting, resident David Withrow reported two vehicles with expired tags parked behind his property with people living in the vehicles. Recorder Leah Sills said she would notify Chief Hopkins of the situation for follow-up.
Council reviewed routine reports from police, street, wastewater and water departments; fire department reports were not available. Council member Tanya Hazelwood commented that "things were coming along with more good things in the works." Recorder Leah Sills reported she had submitted an application for an Accelerate Team worker who could work full time for a period of up to three years.
