At the Nov. 12 meeting, the Bigfork School District Board approved the consent agenda, which encompassed prior meeting minutes, all-bill approval lists, student activity reports for September and October, district donations, out-of-district student requests and a series of personnel items.
Business Manager Lacey Porrovecchio and administrative staff presented the consent items. The donation list included $16,508.43 from the Bigfork Youth Baseball Association earmarked for high school baseball. Personnel items approved under the consent agenda included classified resignations (Donna Fink, paraprofessional; Ginger Aker, transportation), recommended substitute personnel (including Charlene Gartner and Karly Wisher), extra-curricular hires for wrestling and boys and girls basketball (e.g., assistant and JV coaches) and volunteer approvals for athletic programs (including Austin Zapata and Zac Christensen).
Trustee Carol Field moved to approve the consent agenda and Trustee Julie Kreiman seconded; the vote carried unanimously for the trustees present. The approvals are effective immediately; any offers of employment remain contingent on satisfactory criminal history background checks and, where required, pre-employment screening.
The board did not separate any consent items for further discussion at this meeting.
