On the Get Ready broadband project, Amanda presented draw request #11 totaling $87,397.09 made up of two invoices: Thompson & Litton ($67,050) and CityNet ($20,347.09). She said the funding split is 25% TIF and 75% grant; the commission approved the payment with the expectation that roughly $65,547.81 will be reimbursed by the state.
Commissioners asked whether invoices would continue to be paid in full and reimbursed by the state; staff stated make-ready portions are typically paid up front and reimbursement sought. The commission approved the draw request by voice vote.
Next steps: staff will submit the draw to the state for reimbursement processing and continue project closeout accounting.
