Burger King franchise representatives presented a façade and site-refresh plan for the East Henrietta Road restaurant during the July 21 planning-board meeting; the board endorsed the proposed elevations and requested an administrative site-plan submission to finalize technical details.
Joshua Bezos (corporate/franchise liaison) introduced the remodel as part of a national brand-rollout, accompanied by architect Paul Morris and civil engineer Bob Blood. The proposed work includes new exterior materials and a revised color palette, internally illuminated channel letters and a halo-lit crown sign, updated canopies over the drive-through, replacement of worn site striping, new landscaping and upgrades to accessible parking and pedestrian access.
Board members asked for clarity on the crosswalk and whether the pedestrian connection should be a raised concrete walk with curb rather than only striped pavement; the applicant said the matter could be addressed during the administrative site-plan review. Town staff requested that landscaping details use town standard specifications and that a final lighting photometric be submitted with the administrative package.
The board voted to accept the elevations as presented and asked Burger King’s team to submit the necessary sign and building permits and an administrative site-plan package addressing engineering, lighting and planting details.
