At its April 6 meeting the Random Lake Village Board approved several Finance and administrative items in unanimous votes.
Trustee Dave Borchardt reported no changes from prior presentations and recommended approval of Ordinance 2026-09, covering compensation for boards, commissions and similar bodies; Trustee Rachel Fuller moved approval and Trustee Chuck Mueller seconded. The motion carried 7-0.
Clerk/Treasurer Stephanie Waala reported no changes to the Employee Handbook since the prior presentation; Trustee Jamie Vorpahl moved to approve the handbook and Trustee Rachel Fuller seconded. Motion carried 7-0.
The board approved a fireworks application submitted by J&M Displays; Trustee Rachel Fuller moved approval and Trustee Jamie Vorpahl seconded. Motion carried 7-0.
The consent agenda items were approved as submitted: Trustee Blaine Werner moved to approve the March 18, 2026 meeting minutes with a requested wording correction; other motions approved multiple sets of checks (general, utility, fire/ambulance, restricted savings) with motions moved and seconded by trustees as recorded. All consent motions carried 7-0.
Trustees took these actions without recorded amendments; Clerk Waala will include corrections and finalize the minutes and check records for publication.
