Memorial Park plantings set for late May; committee plans grant to cover soldier cross carving

Co-Chairman Rachel Fuller told the committees that a soldier cross carving has been completed and that the committee still needs to determine who will pay for it; the committee’s stated goal is to secure grant funding to cover Memorial Park project costs. Fuller described the Vibrant Spaces Grant program as intended to ensure multi-use park improvements and asked committee members to bring ideas for the grant application to the next meeting.
