Chamber to finalize Random Lake wayfinding maps in April; committee selects sign locations

At the March 10 Random Lake joint Beautification/Lake, Parks and Recreation meeting, John Rassel of the Random Lake Chamber of Commerce said a draft wayfinding map was not yet ready but that the Chamber will contact local businesses and services about inclusion and will provide final approval in April.
Rassel enumerated categories of potential map entries — nonprofit organizations, parks, parking lots and social services — and said he would reach out to salons, clinics, chiropractors and dentists to confirm whether they wished to be listed. Co-Chairman Rachel Fuller told the committees the Lake, Parks, and Recreation committee selected Bob McDermott Lakeview Park, Kircher Park, Bertram Park and Memorial Park as the proposed locations for wayfinding signs and asked members to visit those parks to identify preferred sign placements. Fuller said she preferred stand-alone signs to make them more visible.
