Hudson Sturm, a Shore Road resident, asked the Selectmen at the July 2 meeting when the dirt section of Shore Road would be graded and what the town's longer-term plans were for that section. Selectman Henry "Hank" Nevins reviewed past attempts to address the road and advised Sturm to consult with neighbors to build support.
Selectman Nevins told the board the dirt portion of Shore Road will be added to the town's road surfacing project list for 2027–2028, along with planned work on Muscongus Road, Storer Road and Medomak Road. The minutes do not specify a funding source, the exact surfacing method or when grading will occur prior to surfacing.
The board did not take immediate further action at the July 2 meeting; the July 9 working meeting may include additional planning or scheduling details.
