The Melbourne Village Finance Committee approved the March 2025 meeting minutes and accepted the March financial statements at its April 16 meeting.
Chair Ross Whitley called for a motion to accept the March minutes; committee member Mary Murphy moved and Teri Maxner seconded. The motion carried unanimously. Later in the meeting, after recommending that interest be posted to the balance sheet, the committee moved to accept the March financial statements and place them on file for audit; Kim Zarillo moved, Sandra Smith seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
The approvals were recorded as routine committee business; the financials will be available for the town audit process. The minutes also note Heather Roberts, Town Clerk/Treasurer, and Gary will continue to monitor investments and maintain fund allocations according to the recommended plan.
The committee adjourned at 7:45 p.m.; its next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
