The Monona County Board of Supervisors on July 14, 2026 approved routine personnel moves and intergovernmental agreements during its regular meeting in Onawa.
Chairman Bo Fox and fellow Supervisors Tom Brouillette and Vince Phillips voted unanimously to adopt Resolution SR 26‑43, which transfers Travis Parr from Parts and Inventory Manager to Maintenance Shop Foreman at an annual salary of $71,827.98, effective July 14, 2026, with a 90‑day probationary period. Also approved was a roadway maintenance agreement between Lewis and Clark Park and the Iowa Department of Transportation for fiscal year 2027. The board took the motion and vote during the Secondary Roads portion of the agenda after discussion with Secondary Roads Engineer John Rasmussen and Assistant to the Engineer Byran Phillip.
In addition to the items above, the board approved the minutes of July 7, 2026, and approved county claims presented at the meeting. The board acknowledged receipt of fee reports from the Monona County Recorder, the Sheriff’s office, the Clerk of Court and the Auditor for the relevant reporting periods.
