Pleasanton approves quitclaim deed returning small parcel to adjacent owner

City Attorney Jacklyn Paletta told the Pleasanton City Council that a title search found the city holds a narrow strip of land around the lagoon that had been condemned in the 1920s and was not previously understood to be city property. The city brought Resolution No. 472 authorizing the mayor to execute a quitclaim deed to return the land to Victor Shawn Myrick.
Paletta explained the quitclaim deed and attached exhibit; Councilmember Stark moved to authorize the mayor to sign the deed and the motion carried unanimously.
