Overland City Council approves multiple planned developments, consolidation plat and amends police dispatch contract

The Overland City Council on June 22, 2026, approved a slate of ordinances and resolutions covering planned developments, a consolidation plat, liquor license approvals, records destruction, and an amended police dispatch contract.
The council adopted Ordinance No. 2026-26, granting a conditional use permit to Allan Correa Machado to operate an automotive repair facility at 9560 Page Avenue. Councilman Furnace moved for approval and Councilwoman Ferguson seconded; the roll call recorded all members voting yes.
The council approved Bill 27-2026 as Ordinance No. 2026-27, authorizing the consolidation plat titled “LFRC Overland Subdivision.” City Attorney Joe Bond read the bill; Councilman Wroblewski moved for approval and Councilwoman Ferguson seconded. The motion carried by recorded vote.
Council members also rezoned and approved preliminary development plans for three parcels: Ordinance No. 2026-28 (0.75 acres at 1800 Woodson Road, submitted by 1800 Woodson Road LLC, related to a Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken), Ordinance No. 2026-29 (1.4667 acres at 2128 Woodson Road, submitted by Genes Properties LLC), and Ordinance No. 2026-30 (0.59 acres at Overland Plaza, submitted by 7 Brew). During consideration of the 2128 Woodson Road application, Councilwoman Ferguson moved to amend overnight parking restrictions from 12:00 a.m.–5:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.–5:00 a.m.; Councilman Wroblewski seconded. The amendment passed and Bill 29-2026 was approved as Ordinance No. 2026-29.
The council approved Resolution R2026-36 to schedule records for destruction and Resolution R2026-37 to approve liquor licenses; R2026-37 was recorded with Councilwoman Requejo abstaining and other members voting yes.
On contract business, the council adopted Ordinance No. 2026-31, authorizing an amendment to the contract with St. Louis County to provide coordinated communications and computer-assisted report entry services for the Overland Police Department. City Attorney Joe Bond read the bill; Councilwoman Ferguson moved for approval and Councilwoman Requejo seconded. The vote carried by recorded roll call.
The meeting concluded with a motion to enter executive session to discuss legal matters (RSMo. 610.021(1)) and contracts (RSMo. 610.021(12)).
