Tree trimming (RS20262145): A resolution asking Nashville Electric Service and the Electric Power Board for performance metrics and to work with Metro advisory groups on vegetation management was explained by Council member Allen as a request for data to justify a 15‑foot clearance; the committee approved the resolution 9-0.
Excavation notice ordinance (BL 20 26 14 34): Sponsors and staff agreed a one‑meeting deferral would allow further outreach and review; the committee approved a one‑meeting deferral.
Other votes: The committee recorded approval of a contract with Nixon Power Services (RS20262134) with one abstention recorded and approved an ordinance clarifying assignment/transfer of vehicle certificates (BL 20 26 14 49). The committee adjourned after completing its agenda.
