At its June 19 meeting the Central York School District board approved a package of routine items taken together.
The board took second readings of two policies (policy 115 on career and technical education and policy 608 on bank accounts) with no additional public discussion. The board approved student handbooks, the ATSI high school plan for 2026–27, field trip requests, co‑curricular game management compensation and athletic officials fees for 2026–27, and aquatics co‑curricular appointments. Personnel items approved included new teacher and mentor appointments, JROTC agreements for 2026–27, routine employments and transfers, and summer employment lists.
On operational and fiscal routine business the board approved the food service budget for 2026–27, renewal of the district liability insurance package with Assured Partners, the 2026–27 solicitor engagement letter with Saxton & Stump, district fees and admission prices as listed on attachments, and a student insurance contract with AG Administrators (the cocurricular premium was cited at $27,000; voluntary coverage options and rates were listed in the materials). These items were presented and approved as grouped motions with no extended debate recorded in the meeting transcript.
The board's adoption of these routine items completes the set of approvals needed to operationalize the district's programs and services for the coming school year.
