The committee considered Application 2026-02-W, which seeks relief from Development Regulation Chapter 510-90.01(a), the county rule that requires curb and gutter except in subdivisions with lots of 1 acre or larger. The committee record identifies the property as Land Lots 1241 and 1242 in District 2, Section 3.
Applicant Adham Abed presented the request and answered committee members' questions about technical safeguards, including the results or plans for soil testing, a tertiary erosion-control plan, and the process for obtaining driveway permits through the Paulding County Department of Transportation (PDOT). No public comments were offered during the meeting.
Following discussion, committee member Erica Parish moved to approve Application 2026-02-W; Bruce Coyle seconded. The motion passed unanimously, with a recorded outcome of 6-0 in favor. Earlier in the meeting the committee also approved the April 21, 2026 meeting minutes on a 5-0-1 vote (Tabitha Pollard abstained on the minutes vote).
