The Soda Springs City Council on March 18 adopted Resolution 2026-2, updating the city’s Master Fee Schedule to set new building permit and equipment rental fees pursuant to Idaho Code 63-1311.
Mayor Paul Gritton opened a public hearing on the proposal and Clerk Andrea Haderlie said no written comments were submitted and there was no public opposition. Council President Mitchell J. Hart moved to adopt the resolution; Councilman Ryan Carpenter seconded the motion and the council voted in favor. The motion carried unanimously.
The new fee schedule was presented as an update to the city’s administrative fees and will be recorded in the city’s adopted schedules. Council discussion briefly noted an airport first‑week free policy and thanked staff for the updates to building permit classifications and the Caselle Connect timekeeper correction.
The Council’s action completes the rule‑making step to set fees under Idaho Code 63-1311; the resolution was adopted at the March 18 meeting and will be reflected in the city’s published fee schedule.
