Miranda Bruning of Echelon Arch & Design opened and read the bids submitted for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) library project; Bruning told the council she will review the bids and present a recommendation at a later meeting.
City Clerk Lana Smith presented a Waste Tire Grant proposal to acquire what the minutes record as "63 foot benches" for Main Street, two 8-foot WCA picnic tables for the park and four 8-foot picnic tables for the park. Crystal Wade moved to apply for the Waste Tire Grant; Adam Clark seconded the motion and it carried with 0 Nay to 6 Yay votes.
Smith also reported that roof bid awards are pending because vendors must provide registration with the Attorney General's office, proof of general liability and workers' compensation insurance, and surety bond information before awards proceed.
