County approves equipment financing, paving plan and routine business; votes at a glance

Campbell also sought funding through Community Crossings to pave about six miles of County Road 200 East next year; commissioners moved and carried that request.

In parks business, Parkview representative Amy recommended the treated-wood quote from LMB for $5,678; commissioners approved the contract and accepted a staged invoicing arrangement with final payment after parks staff verification.
Commissioners approved changes to 15 sheriff's department job descriptions clarifying assigned 40-hour schedules, approved appointment of Janet Lloyd as county auditor at a $30,000 contract, and voted to pass on the county's first right of refusal for a small property adjacent to Ivy Tech so the sale can proceed at the listed price. The board also approved claims for multiple dates and payroll, and then adjourned.
