Woolwich adopts consent agenda, tables temporary site-safety certificate; liquor license draws no bids

At its Dec. 1 meeting the Woolwich Township Committee adopted a consent agenda of routine resolutions (R-2025-306 through R-2025-312) and unanimously tabled Resolution R-2025-305, which would have authorized a 60-day Temporary Site Safety Certificate of Occupancy for Paulsboro Rd AP, LLC (Block 14, Lot 2).
Administrator Jim explained the township’s Temporary Site Safety Certificate of Occupancy (TSSCO) process: TSSCOs apply only to exterior site work, are reviewed by engineering consultant RVE, and are handled administratively by the construction department rather than the committee. Following that clarification, the committee voted to table R-2025-305.
The consent agenda included R-2025-312, authorizing award of a bid to Paving Plus, LLC in an amount not to exceed $36,650 for storm sewer pipe repairs at 120 Holly Drive; the consent agenda was adopted unanimously.
Under old business the administrator reported the township received no bids for the liquor license RFP. The committee discussed potentially re-advertising the license next year. In the approval of bills and purchase orders, Committeeman Frederick identified that vendor Doug Horton’s invoice #2501622 for $1,587 had already been paid and was removed from the bill list (Purchase Order 01622 removed); the amended bill list was approved with some abstentions recorded on specified vendor votes.
Resolution R-2025-305 was tabled by motion of Deputy Mayor Nocentino with a second from Committeewoman Jackie Williams; the consent agenda was moved by Committeewoman Williams and seconded by Deputy Mayor Nocentino and adopted by roll call.
