At its June 15 meeting, the Faribault Public Schools board received first readings of several policy updates recommended by the Policy Committee but took no final action.
Policy Committee minutes were reported by Casie Steeves and Linda Moore. The board reviewed the first readings of: Policy 720 (Vending Machine Policy), Policy 908 (Capital Projects Policy), Policy 910 (Energy Efficiency), revisions to Policy 410 (Family and Medical Leave), a renaming/recode of Policy 625 to Policy 699 (Use of and Reproduction of Copyrighted Materials), revisions to Policy 721 (Uniform Grant Guidance regarding federal revenue sources), and revisions to Policy 806 (Crisis Management).
The minutes record the items as first readings; the board did not vote to adopt changes at this meeting. The Policy Committee will bring recommended revisions back for further consideration at a later meeting according to standard policy-review procedures.
