Staff recommended approval, noting the new work would be located on already altered elevations and would be subordinate and compatible in rhythm and proportion.
Representative Jonathan explained the relocated window comes from the side elevation and that the new gable and door adjustments bring the building massing closer to typical patterns; commissioners praised the removal of roof pop‑ups as an improvement.
