Trustees approved reallocating up to $7,000 from the 2023 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) library shelving line to purchase a new copier for the North Fond du Lac Public Library, Administrator Nick Leonard said.
Leonard and Library Director Heather Wegner told the Board the copier was failing and needed replacement. Wegner said the Library Board had approved covering up to $7,000 of the cost at a recent meeting. Trustee John Duffy moved to reallocate up to $7,000 from the shelving CIP to the library copier; Trustee Chuck Hornung seconded the motion and all trustees voted aye.
The approved reallocation reduces the library shelving line by up to the approved amount; meeting minutes do not specify the copier model, total projected cost beyond the $7,000 upper limit, or a procurement schedule.
