Shippy said he had heard feedback from distillery operators, reviewed neighboring states’ legislation and consulted with the Idaho State Police Alcoholic Beverage Control during the bill’s drafting. Senator Harris moved to send RS 32988C1 to print; Senator Adams seconded the motion and it carried by voice vote.
The committee did not record further amendments or a final vote on an enacted statute; sending an RS to print initiates bill drafting and printing for possible introduction.
