Estella Zamora seeks reappointment to Idaho Commission on Human Rights, cites decades of local experience

Shippy asked what types of cases Zamora most commonly encountered; she replied that disability-related complaints were the most frequent and cited an example in which a worker operating heavy machinery suffered an injury and filed a complaint when an employer denied responsibility. Sen. Adams asked whether immigration issues arose in the Commission’s caseload; Zamora said she had not seen immigration as a common theme but recalled an incident involving discriminatory language tied to immigration status.
