At its June 19 meeting the Village of North Fond du Lac Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda and a broad slate of 2023–24 business, liquor, tobacco and dance-hall licenses.
Trustee Mike Will moved and Trustee Ann Price seconded approval of the consent agenda, which included the June 5, 2023 minutes, invoices and the operator-license renewal for Penny Schneider of Dollar General; the motion passed 5–0.
Administrator Nick Leonard then read into the record the proposed 2023–24 licenses, which the board approved as presented by motion of Trustee Price with a second from Trustee Will. Approved items included Class B fermented malt beverage and intoxicating liquor licenses (examples listed in the record include Charlie’s Banquet Hall and Pub, The Stretch Restaurant listed but noted as not to be approved tonight, The Tipsy Pig), Combination Class A licenses (Station Prospect; GPM Southeast, LLC — RStore #4513; Dolgencorp, LLC — Dollar General), tobacco and cigarette products licenses, non-intoxicating beverage licenses and several manufactured-home-park licenses. The minutes record the approvals as carried 5–0.
The board did not approve The Stretch Restaurant tonight; no vote details were recorded for that specific exclusion. The village will process routine licensing paperwork for approved businesses for the 2023–24 licensing period.
