President Mike Streetar called the Village of North Fond du Lac Board of Trustees to order at 6:00 PM on May 15. The board accepted the village's 2022 financial audit after a presentation by John Rader, an auditor with Baker Tilly, who highlighted portions of the audit and said the village is in good financial health.
Administrator Nick Leonard and Trustees thanked Rader and his team for their work. The board then approved routine consent items including the minutes from the May 1, 2023 meeting, authorization of invoices, and an operator license for Andrew Weiglein of NFDL Youth Athletics at 835 E. Merrill Ave. Trustee Mike Will moved approval of the consent agenda and Trustee Ann Price seconded; the motion carried on a 5-0 vote.
The meeting record notes the board also recognized community participation earlier in the meeting: Streetar thanked participants in a U.S. Postal Service food drive and reported the local post office collected over 31,000 pounds of canned goods. The board adjourned at 6:45 PM.
