Mid‑Columbia Community Action Council outlines housing and outreach services to Mosier council

They described a continuum of services that includes emergency shelters, transitional housing, eviction-prevention assistance and a veterans program, and emphasized partnerships with landlords and local outreach efforts in Sherman County.
Naramore told the council the group adapts to local needs and highlighted recent responses to the Rowena fire; she and Kellems said they would provide updated pamphlets and contact information and follow up with Mosier staff to share presentation materials.
Councilors asked about funding sources and outreach; Naramore said state funding is the primary revenue source, supplemented by federal funds, health systems, local government and community giving. The presenters invited the council and staff to help increase local awareness of available services.
