April 1 election results certified; two aldermen declared elected

A canvass conducted by the council after the April 1, 1935 town election showed O. F. Aplin and T. W. Young received the votes required for election as aldermen to two-year terms. The canvass also recorded the vote totals on the levy questions: the increase of the general levy carried (22 for, 15 against) and the municipal airport levy carried (22 for, 14 against). The council declared those results and the levies carried at the special session.
