"We are so grateful to this generous supporter," Presenter (Speaker 7) said when the board approved Resolution 277.
Installation was described as a one‑ to two‑day job once work begins; presenters said the crew that replaced the gym scoreboard is available and the district hopes to have the field unit installed by mid‑September. Separately, the superintendent's report noted progress on multiple building projects: sidewalks at Westwood, roof work and a track surface that is being prepped now with rubber surfacing to follow. The district said fencing is complete and contractors are scheduling the rubber surfacing, with a goal of having usable facilities in time for fall activities.
Board members emphasized watching advertising on the scoreboard and thanked the donor and operations staff for the work to keep projects on schedule.
