"We’re going to do this as single family," the applicant’s attorney said. Neighbors warned rezoning increases the parcel’s market value and allows other B‑4 uses (including short‑term rentals) that could change neighborhood character; one resident noted adjacent developments where the owner later restricted short‑term rentals for similar projects.
The vote was 4–1 (Commissioner McGurk voted no).
