Code enforcement staff said the vacant lot at the corner of 6th and Beach Street (PIN 023204) had been cited in September as an overgrown lot, had been cited multiple times in the past, and that there had been no owner contact or corrective action. Staff recommended declaring the property a public nuisance and setting it for cleanup; the council moved, seconded and approved the action.
Staff also recommended declaring PIN 028958 (1116 Jackson Landing Road) a public nuisance after the property was cited in June for overgrowth and the owners, who live out of town, made no contact regarding posted violations. The council approved that declaration and set the property for cleanup.
