The city's code enforcement officer read the items and asked the council to "consider request to set a date of 10/21/2025 to hold a public hearing on property cleanup" for the following parcels: PIN 024209 (307 Bay Street); PIN 029965 (502 Fanny Avenue); PIN 026770 (405 Woodland Cove); PIN 023226 (203 Cottonwood Street); and PIN 024917 (608 West Street).
Councilwoman Turney moved to set the hearing date and Councilman Hickman seconded; the motion carried on a voice vote. The council did not vote on cleanup actions at this meeting — it only scheduled the public hearing.
The hearing will provide property owners and neighboring residents an opportunity to appear and comment before the council considers any enforcement or abatement actions.
