Giddings reports rising sales tax receipts, $235,000 comprehensive-plan grant; appraisal district budget up 9.5%

Cory Harris, president of the Lee County Golf Association, updated council on a turf project and said the association is evaluating a $60,000 fairway mower that would reduce mowing time to about two hours per day; he asked for continued engagement and thanked city employees who support the course.
