"We had projected our ending fund balance at the end of last fiscal year to be $4,800,000, and the actual balance ended up being $5,600,000," Sharon said, describing the timing mismatch. Staff emphasized the supplemental reconciles timing differences and does not increase the project's total cost.
Councilor Vermillion moved to approve Resolution 2026-11 by title only; Councilor Vicenius seconded. Christy Teets called the roll: Councilor Gilmore (Aye), Councilor Schenkel (Aye), Councilor Childress (Aye), Council President Vermillion (Aye), Councilor Bartholomew (Aye), Councilor Vicenius (Aye), and Mayor Keiser (Aye). The motion passed unanimously, recorded as 7-0.
Next steps: staff will implement the budget adjustments authorized by the supplemental and continue project accounting and reporting to council.
