The board reviewed applications for the clerk/treasurer position and decided to begin interviews on Friday, Jan. 23, 2026. Chair Mike Helman and Supervisor Andy Christensen will serve on the interview panel. The board set the date for the board of audit for Feb. 10, 2026 at 6 p.m. at the Silver Creek Township Hall.
On permitting, the board reviewed an updated driveway permit application and approved placing the document on the township website, applying the current ordinance and fee schedule (motion by Vice Chair Brandon Geyen, second by Christensen, motion carried 3-0).
For annual meeting outreach, Chair Helman presented a postcard mock-up to be mailed to residents; the board authorized up to $750 for postcards and mailing fees from Monticello Printing (motion by Geyen, second by Christensen, motion carried 3-0).
No public comments were recorded during open forum. The board adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
