Silver Creek will split chip-seal cost with Clearwater on town-line roads

Chairman Mike Helman said Clearwater asked Silver Creek to pay one-half of the cost to chip-seal 0.7 miles of Elder Avenue and 0.5 mile of 162nd near the Mississippi Oaks Addition. Supervisor Andy Christensen moved to approve Silver Creek’s share; the motion, seconded by Supervisor Ryan Nelson, carried 5-0.
The board directed Maintenance (C. Klein) to talk with Clearwater and explore project and cost options. The motion did not specify the dollar amount; the cost-share approval was limited to agreeing to pay one-half of the project cost as proposed by Clearwater.
