Supervisor Andy Christensen moved to sign the landowner permit as provided by the association; Vice Chairman Brandon Geyen seconded the motion and it passed 5-0. The board did not add conditions to the motion at the meeting but noted insurance and right-of-way limits as part of the discussion.
The action clears a procedural hurdle for the Monticello Trailblazers to proceed with trail use in the township; the association will now have the township signature required under the landowner-permit process. The board’s approval was limited to signing the permit and did not adopt broader policy or regulatory changes.
