Dwight council approves meters, excavation tubes and routine bills

Earlier in the meeting, Councilwoman Ashley Gearhart moved to accept the minutes of the Sept. 16 regular meeting with noted changes; Councilwoman Brenda Anderson seconded and that motion was recorded as carried 3-0. The minutes do not specify why the vote on the minutes recorded a 3-0 tally while later expenditures recorded 4-0 tallies.
These actions were procedural and routine: purchase and procurement approvals for small municipal items, and approval of bills and meeting minutes. No ordinances or funding authorizations requiring additional external approvals were enacted during these items. The meeting adjourned at 9:01 PM.
