Killdeer Commission agrees to provide letter of support for ambulance service grant application

Vicki Berreth and Tracey Dolezal, speaking for the Killdeer Area Ambulance Service, requested the Commission’s support and asked whether the city police chief could supply a supporting letter. Commissioners approved a motion to provide the requested letter of support on a roll call vote.
The action allows the ambulance service to include municipal support documentation in its federal grant application. No funding commitment from the city was authorized in the motion; the Commission’s action was limited to a support letter and any staff coordination necessary to prepare it.
Next steps: City staff will prepare and deliver the letter of support to the Killdeer Area Ambulance Service for inclusion in its grant submission.
