Commissioner Rodney Thomas moved, and Commissioner Kelsey Hargis seconded, “that the Board of Commissioners go into executive session pursuant to KRS 61.810 paragraph (1)(b) deliberations on the sale of real property in the area of I‑69, Barrett Blvd. and Highway 60 East and paragraph (g) for discussion regarding the potential siting of a business.” The motion passed on a roll call with Commissioners Thomas, Robert N. Pruitt, Sr., and Kelsey Hargis and Mayor Bradley S. Staton recorded as Aye; Commissioner Nicholas E. Whitt was absent. Mayor Bradley S. Staton then declared the Board adjourned into executive session.
After the executive session the board reconvened. Commissioner Thomas moved and Commissioner Pruitt seconded a motion to reconvene into regular session; the motion passed on roll call with the same votes recorded (Whitt absent).
With no further business recorded in open session, Commissioner Thomas moved and Commissioner Pruitt seconded a motion to adjourn. On roll call the commissioners and the mayor voted Aye and Mayor Staton declared the meeting adjourned at approximately 2:38 p.m.
