Riverside committee approves consent agenda: license renewals, municipal liens, handicapped parking and joining regional benefits fund

The liquor renewals list licensees and locations (examples: Riverside Turners Inc., Associacao Nossa Senhora De Fatima, The Madison, Emily's Restaurant and Lounge, Jack's Liquors, White Eagle Liquors). The municipal lien resolution lists specific blocks and lots with abatement charges (for example, $500 to 126 Zurbrugg Way; $300 to 200 Grant Street; $100 for two other properties). The handicapped parking approvals authorized on‑street spots at 601 Arndt Avenue for Paulo Fernandez (child) and 307 N. Fairview Street for Milly Rios following Police Department review.
The Committee also approved Resolution 2026-#80 to join the Southern New Jersey Regional Employee Benefits Fund, accepting the FUND’s bylaws and authorizing execution of an Indemnity and Trust Agreement subject to FUND and state approvals.
What happens next: License renewals take effect July 1, 2026. The Tax Collector will record municipal liens and the clerk and mayor will execute membership documents for the benefits fund after the FUND and state approvals as required by the Indemnity and Trust Agreement.
