Separately, Mister Wagner read a recognition honoring Steuben County Sheriff’s Deputy Bill Lanoue for being named the Indiana School Resource Officer Association’s Region 3 School Resource Officer of the Year for Northeast Indiana. The board and superintendent praised Lanoue’s relationship‑building with students and staff and thanked him for work in hallways and at school events.
