The Robertson County Commission approved two rezoning requests relating to 6764 Hall Road during a public hearing on July 20.
Planner Hunter (speaker 13) presented the first request to rezone approximately 0.048 surveyed acres from AG-2 to R-40; he said the planning commission recommended approval by a 4-1 vote. After questions from commissioners about staff recommendations and parcel configuration, the commission took the motion and the chair announced the resolution passed by the reported voice tally.
Hunter then presented a second request to rezone 2.1239 surveyed acres of the same parcel from AG-2 to RP-80; the planning commission had recommended that request 5-0. Commissioners asked for clarification about the lead-sheet entry and staff recommendations; after discussion the commission called the vote and the chair announced the resolution passed.
Both rezoning approvals were recorded on the county record and will be processed by planning and permitting staff.
