The attorney suggested that if residents provide documentation—trenches, landscaper reports, or dated imagery—the township’s enforcement and municipal-court prosecution could proceed more straightforwardly.
Given the concerns, the council agreed to table the amendment to allow legal and administrative staff to draft revisions and consider procedural options; members set a return date in September for further consideration and asked for suggestions to be sent to staff in the interim.
