Henderson approves equipment purchases for parks and police

Commissioner Robert N. Pruitt, Sr. moved the motion, and both Mayor Staton and Commissioner Pruitt noted they were pleased the successful bidder was local.
Separately, the board approved Municipal Order No. 37‑26 to purchase ten Motorola APX6000 portable radios for the Henderson Police Department using the state master agreement with Motorola Solutions for $61,942.00. Commissioner Rodney Thomas moved the motion; the roll‑call votes on both items were unanimous.
Both municipal orders were recorded and the mayor affixed his signature as ordered by the record.
