Ravenswood receives routine police, code enforcement and maintenance reports

The Police Department report listed May activity figures including total miles driven ($12,972), fuel costs ($5,613), average fuel price ($4.72 per gallon), and 71 arrests during the reporting period (440 year-to-date). The report also logged overtime and training totals, and fines and fees collected in May ($2,284).
Code Enforcement reported enforcement activity including four vehicles removed, seven new property investigations, 126 open investigations, 40 grass warnings and one citation issued. The office also noted participation in community programs such as the Jackson County Drug Court and Hope House Bridge Program.
Maintenance reported routine public-works operations: holiday trash schedule adjustments, interviews for temporary summer help, recent water-leak repairs, landscaping and pothole patching, street sweeper maintenance and a recommendation to remove three rotting trees by the Ferry Landing for safety.
These items were provided to the council as informational reports; no separate council action on the routine reports was recorded in the minutes.
