Appomattox council transfers Rose Project oversight to Economic Development Authority

Council asked staff to coordinate with the EDA and to use town resources such as the agricultural extension service for technical advice on specific issues (for example, plant-disease concerns raised about roses on Church Street). The council encouraged the EDA to consult relevant departments and to engage volunteers where appropriate.
