Representatives of Odell House told the Greenburgh Town Board on May 5 they need the town to finalize a management contract so the nonprofit can attach it to a grant application due May 31.
An Odell House representative (speaker 3) said the group and Susan Seal (speaker 5), who described herself as the organization’s resident historian, had sent a draft contract to town staff and asked whether the board had questions. “We have a grant deadline coming up on May 31. So if we can, we’d like to have this contract finalized before then because we need the contract in order to attach it to the grant application,” the representative said.
Board members asked about insurance and minor contract edits. Town staff (speaker 2) said the broker has been asked for insurance quotes and that they expect to receive them by Thursday; staff will circulate those quotes to the parties. Speaker 2 also said a few minor amendments remain and that attorney‑client review is ongoing.
No formal vote was recorded; the board thanked the Odell House representatives and asked staff to circulate the insurance information and continue negotiating final contract language.
