The motion carried 4-0 (Drew Dawson, Patricia Lewis, Tim Graff, Mike Taylor voting yes; Mayor Russell Giulio was absent).
The Council did not specify a timetable for applications under the new exception. The resolution and its processes will govern future requests for out-of-city water service, including the request referenced in the discussion concerning applicants Kyle and Kylie Simons.
